ABOUT OUR CAT INSURANCE

Our cat insurance provides cover for veterinary fees up to £7,000. At Insurancefair we understand that pets are so much more than just animals, they become a beloved member of the family, and that is usually especially true when it comes to cats.

Often the more independent of the domesticated animals, cat insurance with Insurancefair provides cover for straying as well as advertising and reward.

As with any type of insurance, it is important to know what you are buying before making the decision to purchase a policy. As such, we have devised some frequently asked questions to help inform and assure.

  • Cover for cats from 8 weeks to 8 years old.
  • 4 levels of cover to choose from
  • Up to £7,000 towards vets fees.
  • Up to £1,000 to cover the costs of cattery fees if you are in hospital for over 4 days.
  • Up to £1,000 to cover the costs of advertising for a missing pet, and offering a reward.
  • Up to £1m third party liability cover.
  • Ability to pay vets directly.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

At Insurancefair we believe in being transparent with our customers. We have therefore compiled a list of things to be aware of when taking out your cat insurance with us.

  • You are not covered for any existing medical conditions that your pet has had prior to the start of your policy.
  • We are unable to provide cover if there has been any previous third party liability claims against your pet.
  • We can not provide cover for dogs under 8 weeks old and over 8 years old at the time of policy inception.
  • We will not cover for any claims arising that could have been prevented by vaccination.
